wows it been a while since i last posted....didnt even realize how long... still no camera i think my mom is going to end up just buying a new one but im taking pictures of things so ill have plenty to post when i can!

i finished the first cable square for my patchwork afghan... it came out AHHHH-MAZING!! im so proud of myself, this is my first cabled work so its pretty exciting...i have 5 more to go!

ughghhh

ok well the guy that was supposed to come over and look at the computer is not returning my mom's emails or phone calls...so my mom said she is going to call some computer service thing...but it depends on how much it is going to cost.. because if it is going to cost like $200 then we mine as well just buy a new computer, because we wont need the monitor or keyboard or mouse or speakers...just the actual computer part...but im not sure exactly how much money my mom has

ok enough about that...its time to talk about knitting!

last night during the Patriots vs. the Broncos game i was working on a scarf for charity and i went in the kitchen to get something to snack on and when i come back, my mom is knitting!! yes fully knitting on the scarf!! i was like omg where did you learn that?!? she never actually told me but i think that she just picked it up from watching me doing it around the house...she ended up finishing the scarf this morning...i was like holy moly

so with that one and the one im working on now... i have about 5 or 6 scarfs that im going to be giving the charity thing...i think thats pretty good

other than that ive been working on my afghan a bit, the cable is coming out really nice, i wish i had pictures...but oh well...and once im done with the afghan im going to attempt to make that french market bag again

still no pictures... i actually think there is someone coming to look at the computer this weekend... hopefully anyway because it is truly killing me that i can't post any pictures

anyhoo....

i have been working on the cable squares for my patchwork afghan...and i must say that they are coming out truly amazing! seeing as how this is my first time doing cables, i am very proud of myself. they make sort of a zig-zag pattern... its nifty!

other than that ive been working on scarfs for charity, ive gotten my whole fiber arts class to make some, so im a bit excited about that

ok.. well my computer decided to cooperate today, and it let me see some of the pictures my friend anya [the one i made the HP scarf for] posted in her blog....there just happened to be some of her with the scarf so here they are!

she took a day trip up to chicago and she decided to pose with some lego figures!

sorry, they are a bit blurry...but they're better then no pictures!

thats all the pictures i have for now, but hopefully i can get my computer to fully cooperate and ill be able to post pictures of everything
